Salary: Associate Advisor Scale pro rata

£119 826 -133 712 pro rata

We are looking for an enthusiastic GP educator to join our outstanding ScotGEM teaching team within NHS Dumfries and Galloway in South West Scotland.


As a Generalist Clinical Mentor (GCM) for Year 2 of the ScotGEM programme, you will teach our mature, engaged Crichton cohort students both in a Clinical Skills Centre and in a GP practice environment. You will also work as a GP in the area at least one other day per week.


You will benefit from living and working in a rural, accessible and friendly region whilst being part of a Scotland wide team led, in partnership, by the Universities of Dundee and St Andrews.


ScotGEM is an innovative and exciting four year programme that puts GPs at the centre of undergraduate medical education.
