Job Advert
An exciting period of change and service development is underway within NHS Fife Radiology and we’re looking for a passionate, forward thinking Radiographer to join our dynamic imaging team at Victoria Hospital. This is your opportunity to work in a fast paced environment where learning, collaboration, and patient care are at the heart of everything we do.
What’s on offer?
• This post requires working within our CT department, with our cutting-edge imaging equipment including two Siemens xCite scanners and a Siemens Somatom Definition Plus.
• A crucial role in educating and mentoring students and rotating staff, both practically and theoretically.
• A 26 hour substantive contract, working across a 7-day rota (including nights), forming part of our essential 24/7 CT service. Working public holidays is included in this post.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has solid experience working in an NHS Radiology department, including out-of-hours shifts.
• Is compassionate, dedicated, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Wants to grow, professionally and personally, through continuous learning and hands on experience.
Our department has a culture rooted in respect, support, and shared learning and we need new Radiographers to help us continue and develop this further.
Face-to-face interviews will be required.
AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot can be great for planning and preparing your application—but your answers must be your own.
Show us the real you: Your application should reflect your skills, experience, and motivations authentically.
Use AI wisely: It’s fine to use AI for ideas or to check spelling and grammar, but don’t let it write your answers.
Why this matters: Applications that rely on AI-generated content may be withdrawn. By applying, you confirm your responses are based on your own knowledge and achievements.
Tip: Think of AI as a helper, not a substitute. We want to understand you—not an AI tool.
