We are looking to recruit a dynamic, highly motivated Registered Nurse with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in Ward I, Lorn & Islands Rural General Hospital, Oban. Ward I is a 14 bedded ward comprising of 14 general medical beds with focus on rehabilitation, stroke recovery and palliative care.
Ward I offers a friendly and supportive learning environment. You will have robust clinical skills and knowledge in acute medical nursing, experience in rehabilitation is desirable but not essential. Applicants should have evidence of continuous professional development, a commitment to life-long learning and an enthusiastic and innovative approach to service development. ILS training is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Lorn & Islands rural General Hospital is a modern, well equipped hospital situated in Oban on the stunning west coast of Scotland. Ferry links can transport you easily to Mull or the more distant islands. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with countless leisure activities, good schools and a strong sense of community. Relocation package may be available.
