Bring your skills and enthusiasm to our friendly Radiology team in Oban. As a Band 6 Radiographer, you’ll take on a more advanced and autonomous role, helping us deliver a high‑quality diagnostic imaging service to our local community on the stunning west coast of Scotland.
What you’ll do:
Deliver high‑quality general radiography across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings
Apply advanced practice skills appropriate to Band 6 level, supporting clinical decision‑making and safe patient management
Work collaboratively within a small multidisciplinary team, contributing to smooth, patient‑centred service delivery
Support training, supervision, and mentorship of Band 5 colleagues and students
Participate in out‑of‑hours and weekend rota (enhanced rates apply)
What we’re looking for:
HCPC‑registered Diagnostic Radiographer
Strong clinical experience in general radiography, with confidence to work independently
A proactive, flexible approach and commitment to high‑quality patient care
Someone who enjoys the variety and responsibility that comes with rural healthcare

- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
