FIXED TERM / SECONDMENT FOR 1 YEAR

This is a senior operational leadership role, with initial focus on the implementation of the GP Walk‑In service delivery in Invergordon, and scope to support wider Highland rollout as the service develops.

This role reflects a system‑level operational management post, with responsibility for governance, performance, workforce and finance.

  • Operational leadership of GP Walk‑In Services
  • Responsibility for service governance, risk and performance
  • Designated budget holder
  • Line management of service staff
  • Senior engagement across Primary Care, Unscheduled Care and national workstreams

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

  • Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
