An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Theatre Staff Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner.

Surgery encompasses day case elective general surgery, cataracts, oculoplastics, dentals, gynaecology and endoscopy.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to provide an efficient and high quality theatre service. This is an excellent opportunity to work within various specialities in a Rural General Hospital. The successful applicants will be good team players with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in this field of nursing.

Experience within the peri-operative care setting is desirable. The successful candidates will be given the opportunity to increase their clinical skills to be able to provide and promote high standards of patient care.

This a permanent full-time 36 hour post, working Monday to Friday, shifts subject to service requirements it also has overnight and weekend on-call rotation, therefore the successful applicant will need to be a car driver.
