Position:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our Administration Department as a Receptionist/Community Nurse Administrative Assistant. Based at Elgin House SAHSCP Headquarters, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality front-of-house service and supporting our Community Nursing teams.
As part of the wider receptionist team, you will also provide cover at Biggart Hospital during periods of leave and absence, ensuring continuity of service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, values teamwork, and is committed to providing exceptional service to patients, staff, and visitors.
Hours and Shift Pattern:
Working hours are 22.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 0830 - 1300

What you will do:
Flexible and enthusiastic, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive clerical support to the South Community Nursing teams and delivering a range of administrative functions. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can work confidently on their own initiative as well as collaboratively within a team.
While working at Elgin House, you will work closely with senior staff across the organisation and act as the first point of contact for enquiries often handling confidential and sensitive matters with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Applicants should ideally hold relevant IT qualifications, such as ECDL, and demonstrate strong keyboard skills. Previous experience within the NHS would be advantageous, as would familiarity with SSTS; however, full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
