There are strong relationships and co-working between interventional radiology and the successful applicant will be encouraged to develop an endovascular practice if inclined. There are also opportunities to pursue professional interests in education, management and research. The multidisciplinary team includes 10 vascular surgery consultants, 7 middle grade members of vascular surgical staff, 3 junior doctors, a Perioperative Care for Older People Undergoing Surgery (POPS) Team, 2 vascular nurse specialists and fantastic allied health professional support from physiotherapy, occupational therapy and podiatry.
