You will provide practical advice and support to patients and carers, undertake delegated screening, observations and basic assessments in line with defined protocols, and gain valid consent for agreed treatment programmes.

Working as part of multidisciplinary teams, you will liaise with colleagues, provide feedback on patient progress and contribute to the effective delivery of care. Duties will also include preparing patients for therapy, maintaining accurate patient records and statistical information, monitoring compliance with feeding plans, and escalating concerns appropriately.

The role includes responsibility for delegated service activities, including support for Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) systems and related service organisation.
