WARD RECEPTIONIST
2 POSTS – 22.5 hours per week, Part time, Permanent
Monday to Friday 12 noon till 16.30 and 15.30 till 20.00.
A degree of flexibility will be required to cover annual leave and public holidays.
BAND 2, £25,694 - £27,900
Applications are invited from individuals with relevant administration experience to provide an efficient reception service for AEC within Raigmore Hospital.
We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking receptionists to join our team.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills both face to face and on the telephone, a clear and pleasant telephone manner, be able to work under pressure within a fast paced environment and be computer literate.
Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to deal with competing demands as well as having the ability to work as a team player or individually as required are essential skills for this post.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
- Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
