Hospice Physician in Palliative Medicine
Fixed Term Post
July 2026 – July 2027
6 Sessions per week, Over 3 days including 1 SPA, plus on-call commitments
Up to 1 in 5 mid-week overnight + up to 1 weekend in 5 on call cover (48 hours) – 1st on call, non-residential
Hospice physician salary £46,286 - £55,366 per annum (pro-rata)
2% availability Supplement + on call payments paid at 1 session per weekday night, and 6 sessions per weekend

About The Role
As part of wider multi-disciplinary team you will contribute to person-centred palliative medical care within the 24-bedded inpatient unit to support patients to live well with illness and to die with dignity.
You will be part of a medical team that includes 4 consultants, 5 specialty doctors, a GPST and specialty trainee, who work in the hospice in-patient unit, the community and as part of the hospital palliative care team in Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
