This is a rewarding and exciting chance for an enthusiastic and creative team player to join our organisation’s communications function.
In this role, you will be involved in supporting the redevelopment and maintenance of our web estate, including our corporate website. You’ll do this by creating, formatting, structuring, editing and publishing effective, user focused web content using your detailed knowledge of content management systems including Wordpress, Umbraco, Alterian Immediacy CMC and SharePoint. You’ll also train and support others across the organisation to update their web content so it’s user friendly.
As well as supporting our website, you’ll provide specialist support in the production of a range of digital communication content including website copy, high quality video content, audio podcasts, email marketing and digital graphics content. You’ll distribute the completed digital content across a range of digital channels e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, website etc.
You will demonstrate attention to detail in your work and be able to organise and structure complex information into logical, coherent website content. You’ll also be able to identify the nature or any website technical issues and work with external contractors to resolve issues and develop new functionality where appropriate.
This post will suit someone who has experience in a busy and varied multi-disciplinary communications environment. You will be educated to degree level in an appropriate specialist discipline or have relevant specialist experience.
