Support Services Manager
Band 7 £52,845 - £61,466 per annum
Plus £1,461 Distant Islands Allowance per annum
36 hours per week

Applicants are invited for the post of Support Services Manager in NHS Western Isles. The post is based in the Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
The Support Services Manager will be responsible for the operational management and leadership of Domestic and Laundry Services within NHS Western Isles which includes Hospitals, Health Centres, Scottish Ambulance Service depot, Residencies, Office and Support Accommodation, ensuring the services provided are safe, efficient, compliant, and high-quality. They will manage Staff and resources to mee service needs and associated operational functions, including pest control and national reporting, and contribute to the continuous improvement of support services across the organisation.
The Support Services Manager will allocate and utilise resources efficiently and effectively to the identified needs of the service specification to maximise benefits to patients, and delivery of a high-quality service.

The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme). The post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
