This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of health and care for the people of Fife.

As Director of Planning and Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in driving ambitious change across NHS Fife and the wider health and social care system. Working alongside Executive colleagues, clinical leaders and partners, you will lead the development and delivery of transformational programmes that improve quality, performance, sustainability and patient outcomes.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and serving as a member of the Executive Team, you will provide strategic leadership for planning, transformation, performance management, corporate governance and partnerships. You will focus on developing integrated, person-centred services and ensure that NHS Fife is well positioned to respond to the challenges and opportunities facing healthcare.

Leading a high-performing directorate of over 40 staff and overseeing a budget of £2.6 million, you will champion innovation, evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement. You will also provide executive leadership for key corporate functions including whistleblowing, programme governance and strategic performance assurance.

NHS Fife serves a population of approximately 374,000 people and works closely with partners across health, social care, academia and the third sector. This role offers the chance to influence change at scale and leave a lasting legacy for the communities we serve.
