Thank you for your interest in the role of Chief Officer for Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership. This is a rare and high‑profile system leadership opportunity within one of Scotland’s most distinctive and complex partnerships. Spanning NHS Forth Valley and two local authorities, the Partnership brings together a wide range of health and social care services, resources and expertise to deliver integrated, person‑centred care for communities across Clackmannanshire and Stirlingshire.

Our shared ambition is to enable people to live full, positive and independent lives within supportive communities. Through strong partnership working and a clear focus on outcomes, we are driving forward transformation in health and social care - improving access, reducing inequalities and delivering care closer to home.

We are seeking an exceptional, values‑driven leader who can navigate complexity, build strong relationships and provide visible, compassionate leadership across organisational and professional boundaries. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of integrated services, influence system‑wide change and make a lasting difference to the lives of the people and communities we serve.

The successful candidate can choose whether to be employed by either Clackmannanshire Council, Stirling Council or NHS Forth Valley and will be appointed on either health or council terms and conditions. It should be noted that pay and terms and conditions are different in the three organisations and candidates cannot select terms from each employer but will be offered the relevant package of conditions from one.

Location

Clackmannanshire and Stirling are exceptional places to live and work, combining outstanding natural scenery with excellent transport links across Central Scotland and beyond. Both areas have rich cultural history, modern amenities and fantastic surroundings making them an attractive setting for both professional and personal life.
