An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Principal Clinical Psychologist to join NHS Golden Jubilee's Psychology service and contribute to the newly established Occupational Health Psychology Service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the psychological wellbeing of staff across the organisation by providing highly specialised psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for employees experiencing a range of mental health and wellbeing difficulties. The postholder will work closely with Occupational Health to promote psychological wellbeing, enhance workforce resilience and contribute to reducing the impact of psychological distress on staff attendance and performance.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop an innovative service, delivering both individual and group-based interventions, psychological consultation, supervision, training and service development initiatives. The postholder will contribute to organisational wellbeing programmes and support the implementation of evidence-based and digitally enabled models of care.
Applicants must hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent qualification recognised by the British Psychological Society) and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Significant post-qualification experience working with adults experiencing common and complex mental health difficulties, alongside experience of supervision, service development and multidisciplinary working, is essential.
We are looking for a highly motivated clinician who combines excellent clinical skills with strong leadership, communication and service development abilities. Experience of working within Occupational Health, staff wellbeing, health psychology or vocational rehabilitation services would be advantageous.
