Registered Nurse – Specialist Palliative Care Unit
Band 5 | Permanent | 22.5 Hours per Week (day/night rotation)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our Specialist Palliative Care team at Roxburghe House.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in palliative and end-of-life care. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge within a specialist setting, supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.

About Roxburghe House
Our 21-bedded Specialist Palliative Care Unit provides expert symptom management and support for patients with complex palliative care needs. Our aim is to achieve the best possible quality of life for patients and their families through the delivery of high-quality, holistic, person-centred care.
The Role
The successful candidate will be motivated, compassionate and self-driven, with a commitment to delivering high standards of individualised care within a specialist palliative care setting. You will work collaboratively with patients, families and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes and experiences for those in our care.
Essential Criteria
- Registered Adult Nurse with current UK NMC registration.
- Post-registration nursing experience within NHS.
- Applicants will only be considered if you can demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification.
- References must include your current line manager.
