We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Palliative Medicine to join an established and innovative specialist palliative care service in the West of Scotland. ACCORD Hospice provides specialist palliative care to the people of Renfrewshire and parts of East Renfrewshire working in close partnership with NHSGGC colleagues at the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) and local Health and Social Care Partnerships.

This new post has been created as part of a reconfiguration of consultant sessions will take over the role of one of the current 2 Consultants who works across both the RAH and ACCORD sites. The future configuration will be 3 part time Consultants based at ACCORD Hospice and 2 part time Consultants based between the RAH and ACCORD Hospice. This post will join the Hospital palliative care team which will comprise off 2 part time consultants 2 band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialists (WTE 1.6) and 2 band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialists (WTE 1.6).
