Chief Officer / Head of Planning, Performance & Quality Assurance
Executive Grade C: £83,152 - £107,901 per annum
The Role
North Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is the integrated partnership between North Lanarkshire Council (NLC) and NHS Lanarkshire (NHSL), operating through the North Lanarkshire Integration Joint Board (IJB).
We are seeking an exceptional strategic leader to join our Health & Social Care Partnership as Chief Officer / Head of Planning, Performance & Quality Assurance.
This pivotal role will lead strategic planning, commissioning, performance management and quality assurance across the HSCP, ensuring high-quality, integrated services that improve outcomes for service users, carers and communities. Working closely with senior leaders, elected members and external partners, you will drive innovation, transformation and continuous improvement while shaping the future direction of health and social care services.
The Chief Officer/Head of Planning, Performance and Quality Assurance directly supports this strategic aim, by ensuring the planning and commissioning of high quality services and by developing and delivering comprehensive performance management information which is used to ensure that NHS Lanarkshire, and partners are delivering positive integrated outcomes aligned with the agreed priorities and which also promote our vision, values and reputation.
We are looking for a proven senior leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, performance improvement and partnership working within a complex public sector environment. You will bring strong political awareness, exceptional leadership skills and a track record of delivering impactful change, service excellence and best value.
