Community Psychiatric Nurse

An opportunity has arisen within the Community Mental Health Team for a motivated and forward thinking nurse to join our experienced, enthusiastic and supportive team.
You will be expected to provide high quality, holistic, evidence based care and support to clients and their families who experience a diverse range of mental health issues.
You will possess effective inter-personal/communication skills with the ability to work autonomously
You must be able to be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the Service
You will be working within the Elgin/Moray Coast/Forres GP practice areas managing a caseload of people with a severe and/or enduring mental illness and who are already open to our team.
You will be expected to participate in clinical supervision/appraisal; take on the role of placement supervisor to students attached to the team, be part of the duty rota for the CMHT’s and will be encouraged to use opportunities for professional development.
You will hold current professional registration within the NMC and will hold a clean UK driving license with appropriate insurance
