Following the relocation of our current Salaried GP, Bellyeoman Surgery has an exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to join our well-established practice team.

We are a large, friendly and relaxed practice based in Dunfermline. This is a beautiful city with many amenities and is easily commutable from Edinburgh. The practice currently consists of 7 partners, 1 ANP 2 practice nurses and the usual administration team. In addition, we are well supported by health board employed practice nurses, mental health nurses, physiotherapists, phlebotomists and pharmacists.

The practice is offering a salaried post under the BMA model contract.

The Practice:

· List size currently 11,350

· Excellent support from treatment room and chronic disease nurses

· Experienced highly supportive practice management team

· Very helpful reception team

· EMIS & Docman & eConsult Clinical systems (switching to Vision in 2027)

· Practice pharmacist on site

· Involved in training ScotGEM Medical students and FY2s

· Modern spacious practice building with ongoing refurbishment plans

The GP job on offer:

· 6 sessions per week – working days to be confirmed

· Daily informal meeting for coffee chat and support with GPs after morning surgery

· Pro-rata share of duty doctor sessions

· Pro-rata share of paperwork

· Option to undertake private medicals and reports to increase remuneration

· Option to participate in extended hours within practice to increase remuneration

· Model GP contract for Salaried GP as per BMA

· Salaried GP full time rate as per model contract with yearly increments. Salary dependent on qualifications, current experience etc.

The current GPs all really enjoy working in primary care and get on very well together, both at work and socially. Our patient satisfaction surveys are excellent and reflect our values of a patient centered approach.
