Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum (pro rata)

Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available


Are you a Registered Nurse, who is enthusiastic about your role and wants to make a difference? If so we want you to join us working as part of our Community Nursing Team, delivering care to the population of Shetland. We have vacancy for Band 5 Community Nurses, preferably with Community experience, but training will be provided for suitable applicants.


Working under the direction of the District Nurse Specialist Practitioners within the Community setting in partnership with the existing Health and Social Care Teams. You will help support the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care for patients, families and carers of the Practice population with whom you are working, and will have the opportunity to develop your own clinical skills and knowledge.


It is essential that you are a car driver with a full UK driver’s license and the successful candidate will be required to participate in our on-call rota.
