We are looking for organised individuals who have experience working in a fast paced environment with the confidence and ability to use your own initiative when problem solving to ensure that FNC runs smoothly, safely and effectively within the resources available. You will have consistent access to the senior FNC team for support as required.

As a Dispatcher you will work alongside a Multi-Disciplinary Team and must demonstrate and be able to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally. You will also have experience of working within agreed processes and scripting to ensure safe and effective service delivery at all times.

You will have experience of working within a health-care setting, medical terminology, computer skills and have a good sound geographical knowledge of Fife.

Rota’s will be agreed on a four week basis. This will require you to be able to work flexibly across the hours of 08:00 – 2030, including weekends and all public holidays; this includes Christmas Day / Boxing Day / New Years Day, and you would be expected to work these days as a normal working day should the days fall on your agreed rota days.

AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot can be great for planning and preparing your application—but your answers must be your own.

  • Show us the real you: Your application should reflect your skills, experience, and motivations authentically.
  • Use AI wisely: It’s fine to use AI for ideas or to check spelling and grammar, but don’t let it write your answers.
  • Why this matters: Applications that rely on AI-generated content may be withdrawn. By applying, you confirm your responses are based on your own knowledge and achievements.

Tip: Think of AI as a helper, not a substitute. We want to understand you—not an AI tool.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.

It is ESSENTIAL that you have checked that you either already have an appropriate right to work in the UK or that the post would be eligible to be sponsored BEFORE submitting your application form.
