The Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel is a leading 4-star hotel and conference venue located within the NHS Golden Jubilee campus in Clydebank. With 168 bedrooms, a variety of dining outlets, and conference facilities hosting up to 400 delegates, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and customer service to every guest.
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistants to join our friendly and professional team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic hospitality environment where no two days are the same.
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding guest experiences across our restaurant, lounge bar, room service, conference and banqueting operations. You will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and ensuring our guests receive the highest standards of care at every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver food and beverage service across a range of hotel outlets
• Set up and clear restaurant, bar, conference and banqueting areas
• Provide room service to hotel guests
• Deliver high standards of customer care and hospitality
• Assist with conference and event set-up, including moving tables and chairs
• Carry out bar service duties and cash handling responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout service areas
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an exceptional guest experience
About You
You will have:
• Standard Grade (or equivalent) English and Mathematics
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
• A keen interest in hospitality, food and beverage service
• Awareness of health and safety requirements within a customer service environment
Previous hospitality or hotel experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided, including Food Hygiene and Licensing qualifications.
This role operates on a shift basis across seven days, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Flexibility is therefore essential.
