Administration Posts (Band 2–7)

NHS Lothian Staff Bank is seeking applications from current NHS Lothian employees working in Band 2–7 Administration roles who wish to undertake additional work through the Staff Bank.
The Staff Bank provides flexible work opportunities across a range of services and departments, supporting operational needs throughout NHS Lothian.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply, you must:
- Hold a current substantive post within NHS Lothian in a Band 2–7 Administration role.
- Have successfully completed your probationary period.
- Be applying to join the Staff Bank in the same role as your substantive post.
- Have at least 6 weeks remaining in your substantive post at the time of application.
Applications from individuals who do not meet the above criteria will not be considered.
PVG Requirements
Where your substantive post requires PVG Scheme Membership, you must already hold the appropriate PVG clearance before submitting your application.
Application Information
To complete your application, please ensure you have the following information available:
- NHS Lothian Payroll Number
- National Insurance Number
These details will be used to verify your current employment status within NHS Lothian.
Further Information
By applying to join the Staff Bank, you are applying for a post equivalent to your current substantive role and grade. Staff Bank assignments are offered on an as-required basis and are intended to provide additional flexible working opportunities within NHS Lothian.
