Our Radiology service is one of Scotland's leading diagnostic imaging departments, supporting both specialist services within the hospital and patients from Health Boards across the country. As Scotland's national waiting times centre for diagnostic imaging, we help reduce waiting times and improve access to care nationwide. We also host the National Ultrasound Training Programme, supporting the development of future healthcare professionals.

Due to continued service expansion, we are seeking a highly organised and motivated Radiology Admin Coordinator to join our busy and supportive team.

About the Role

This is a pivotal role within Radiology, providing comprehensive administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the Radiology Management Team, Consultant Radiologists and wider multidisciplinary team. You will act as a key point of contact for staff, patients and external organisations, helping to ensure effective communication, coordination and operational delivery across the department.

• Supporting payroll administration and workforce processes.
• Maintaining departmental systems, records and filing structures.
• Providing high-quality administrative support to senior leaders and clinicians.
• Working with a range of specialist NHS and Radiology information systems.

This varied role offers the opportunity to work at the centre of a dynamic service where no two days are the same.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and playing a key role in supporting clinical services.

About You

You will be a highly organised and proactive administrator with significant experience in a busy administrative role, ideally within a healthcare environment. You will be confident managing multiple priorities, maintaining accuracy under pressure and building positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
• HNC/SVQ III in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Significant administrative experience, preferably gained within healthcare.
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate tact, diplomacy and professionalism.
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
• The ability to work independently whilst contributing positively as part of a wider team.
• A flexible and positive approach to meeting the changing needs of the service.

If you are looking for a rewarding role where you can make a meaningful contribution within one of Scotland's leading healthcare organisations, we would love to hear from you.
