1 x Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) 30 hours per week
1 x Permanent 21.60 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse based in the Badenoch & Strathspey Community Hospital and covering all of Badenoch & Strathspey. This is a one year maternity cover position working 30hrs a week, normal hours is 9 – 5pm four days a week with normally one weekend a month. The role involves the assessment, planning, implementing and evaluation of care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality evidence based holistic care, this care may be delivered in the community, ITR Clinic and care homes. The applicant should be motivated, keen to learn, develop new skills and enthusiastic about Community Nursing. Community experience would be advantageous but not essential, consideration also given to newly qualified staff. There is also a small on-call commitment, full current driving licence and access to car essential. Allocation to use of pool car is given to staff travelling greatest distance.
