We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who are available for bank shifts Monday – Friday and whose experience provides them with the flexibility to work across a variety of clinical areas. Whilst we offer very occasional weekend bank shifts, the majority of available shifts are Monday – Friday.
We would also encourage applications from people with experience in providing specialist Pelvic Health and Uro Gyn Physiotherapy services.

The Role
- Takes a lead role for a designated clinical area with a caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge. Has responsibility for the supervision, education and development of more junior staff, physiotherapy support workers and students within the speciality.
- Provides a specialised resource to other healthcare staff/patients/carers.
- Has active involvement in Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness and Research
The working pattern for this role is : Staffbank 0 hours
In this key role, you will:
- To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work including direct and indirect patient care
- To assess capacity gain valid consent and have the ability to work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent.
- Act independently to assess, analyse clinical and non-clinical information and provide highly specialist and comprehensive clinical diagnosis for individual patients to determine their need for physiotherapy intervention. This includes patients with complex presentations
- Act independently to plan, implement, evaluate, treat and progress patient care to maximise rehabilitation potential – including decision making regarding discharge from care
What You'll Bring:
- Registered Physiotherapist with valid HCPC registration
- Educated to/working towards/operating at degree level
- Post graduate expertise within speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality/area of practice.
