Band 6 - Salary Range £43,231 - £52,679 per annum plus

Distant Island Allowance of £2,278 per annum

Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available


The school nursing team in Shetland are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. Working across the whole of the Shetland Islands, you will play a key part in the delivery of the refocused school nursing role, as well as supporting health screenings and immunisation delivery.


Applicants should be a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of two years post registration experience and a SCPHN qualification.


As an experienced nurse, you will work in partnership with other professionals to improve the health and wellbeing of school aged children and young people, across the NHS Shetland locality, ensuring they are able to reach their full potential. An understanding of child protection policies and procedures are essential.
