Project Manager – Maternity Programme

NHS Grampian

Help shape the future of maternity services in NHS Grampian.

Are you an organised, motivated project professional who enjoys bringing people together, making things happen and helping services improve?

We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Moray Maternity Programme, working across NHS Grampian to support the implementation of initiatives that improve patient care and health outcomes.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting change across maternity services, working alongside clinical teams, senior leaders and colleagues across both health boards to turn plans into meaningful improvements.

Make a difference through collaboration

As Project Manager, you’ll lead and support the delivery of programme initiatives, helping ensure projects are completed within agreed timescales and budgets while achieving their intended benefits.

Working closely with the Programme Director and clinical leads, you’ll coordinate workstreams, develop and monitor project plans, manage risks and identify solutions to challenges as they arise.

You’ll build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, facilitate meetings and discussions, and communicate complex information clearly to help teams work towards shared objectives.

A key part of the role will be supporting people through change. You’ll help teams understand new ways of working, encourage collaboration and ensure that the views and concerns of those affected are heard and considered.

Bring your ideas, skills and experience

This role offers the opportunity to use your project management expertise in a complex, collaborative healthcare environment.

You’ll have the scope to take ownership of your workload, use your initiative and judgement, and contribute to the planning and delivery of projects that support the development of maternity services.

We’re looking for someone with project management experience, strong planning and organisational skills, and the confidence to work with people at all levels.

You’ll be comfortable analysing information, managing competing priorities and deadlines, preparing reports and presentations, and using project management tools and Microsoft applications to support effective delivery.

Above all, you’ll be a collaborative and resilient team player who can build relationships, influence positively and adapt as project requirements evolve.

Ready to make a difference?

If you have project management experience and would like to contribute to the development of maternity services across NHS Grampian, we’d love to hear from you.

Bring your experience, ideas and enthusiasm to a programme focused on supporting patient care and health improvement.
