The post holder will coordinate, administer and facilitate the procedures and processes for serious adverse event management and patient and carer feedback and complaints for REAS services in line with NHS Lothian Health and Safety Policy; Adverse Event Management Policy; and the Complaints Handling Procedure.
The post holder’s workload will be self-directed and will report to the REAS Service Business Manager with a matrix management approach to the Chief Nurse/General Managers and Associate Medical Director who will support the clinical leadership team in incident investigation, management of Datix reporting, and patient feedback and complaints management. The post holder will be responsible for the coordination and administration of a robust process for assurance that evidence lessons learned and recommendations are effectively communicated for implementation within the service areas.
The post holder will have direct line management responsibility for the Business Support Officer(s) within the team.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. Please note: As this post is part-time, the salary will be pro-rata.
