NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

Looking for work that fits around your life and genuinely makes a difference every day? This is a flexible 31.50 hour role worked as a split shift covering mornings and lunchtime support. The hours can be offered as one post or split into two posts, making this ideal if you are returning to work, balancing family commitments, or looking for part time hours with real purpose.

You will support older adults in their own homes, helping them stay independent, safe and well in their community. This is hands on, meaningful work where your time, care and kindness have an immediate impact.

No previous care experience is required. We provide full training, shadowing and ongoing support, so if you have the right values and want to help people, we can teach you the rest.

You will have opportunities to gain SVQ qualifications, build confidence and develop a long term career in health and social care.

We offer an excellent work life balance with 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern. Enhancements are paid for nights and weekends. NHS Highland offers excellent terms and conditions including 28 days paid annual leave pro rata, access to the NHS pension scheme, and a wide range of staff benefits.

If you are caring, dependable and want a job that truly matters, this could be the role for you.
