We have a full time position Band 6 Team Leader available within the Endoscopy Department in NHS Grampian. We require the candidate to work 37.5 hours including weekend work.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an excellent team within a large and expanding Endoscopy Service. Providing a Service both in the Acute sector and the community.
We require a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic individual wishing to develop leadership skills, who will support the SCN to lead the team rising to any challenges and have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
Suitable candidates should have extensive post registration nursing experience including at least 4 years experience in Endoscopy. The suitable candidate must have a sound knowledge of all areas of Endoscopy.
The suitable candidate must have good leadership skills, be able to work effectively and efficiently in a challenging environment, you must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to adapt your skills to ever changing situations.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice, have experience in management and evidence of continuous service improvement. The Successful candidate must be able demonstrate sound knowledge Endoscopy Competencies and be able to facilitate training and support staff to achieve these competencies.
The successful applicant will work leading the team within all the areas that the Endoscopy Service covers within NHS Grampian.
