We are recruiting an innovative and enthusiastic individual to assist us in providing high quality planned nursing care for patients and volunteers participating in Clinical Research.

The post holder will work within the Department of Respiratory Medicine based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The research subject groups consist of patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions at varying stages of the disease process. This includes Covid 19 Research projects.

The post holder will assist the Research Nurses with the general administrative and nursing tasks associated with research work including, but not limited to, file maintenance, booking appointments and study visits.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post. 

Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata.
