We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist equipped with the knowledge and skills essential to delivering the range of services required to support the development of the new Mesh Complex Surgical Service within Greater Glasgow and Clyde and the Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Service.
The post holder will require expert level skills and knowledge to enable them to address complex problems and manage risk. Advanced critical thinking will be required to allow delivery of person-centred care to patients with complex needs. You will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team to review, analyse and develop services to ensure patient centred care.
The post holder will be responsible for education, training and staff development within the specialist area and will facilitate Quality Improvement and evidence based practice.
Communication with physiotherapists in other Scottish Health Boards and communication and collaboration with other expert physiotherapists at the other Mesh Complex Surgical Centres will be a key component of the post holder’s role.
This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and motivated physiotherapist, with the desire to contribute to the development of the MDT Mesh Complex Surgical Service. We would welcome informal enquiries from individuals with an interest in this position.
