The North Cancer Alliance are seeking a Band 7 Programme Co-ordinator to drive forward service improvement within the regional cancer services.
The role will lead on a number of improvement programmes including the delivery of our Skin Cancer Action Plan, alignment of Cellular Pathology services and supporting the primary / secondary care interface for cancer.
The Programme Coordinator will work autonomously under the leadership of the NCA manager and Clinical Director and should have a background in service improvement, project and change management.
The Programme Coordinator will also manage a number of Pathway Boards and provide coordination support to interest and speciality groups across the North Cancer Alliance, comprising the 6 North of Scotland boards delivering cancer services to a population of 1.4 million.
The successful applicant will require to operate at both strategic and operational levels, and be able to drive forward the cancer improvement agenda working with stakeholders from across the North.
The post-holder will strengthen links with partners across the North of Scotland aiming to co-ordinate and support change for the improvement to cancer services across the region.
The post will be based in Summerfield House, Aberdeen, however a hybrid working approach is available and alternative office locations are available throughout the North of Scotland.
