This is an opportunity for a newly qualified HCPC registered Healthcare Scientist or a Trainee Biomedical Scientist to work in a busy department which provides a full range of clinical and diagnostic services to NHS Tayside and north-east Fife.

The Blood Sciences Department is based on two sites at Ninewells Hospital, a large Teaching Hospital and Medical School, Dundee and Perth Royal Infirmary, Perth.


We are looking for a member of staff that can demonstrate team spirit, initiative, and flexibility and has the enthusiasm to train further. You will be working in a newly refurbished state of the art laboratory with Siemens ADVIA 2120 analysers, Siemens Atellica Solution, TOPS Coagulation analysers and Bio-Rad blood transfusion equipment.


Post qualification professional development is encouraged and supported. On attaining appropriate competences you will join the roster for the Out of Hours sessions which will include some weekend, evening and overnight duties as well as Public Holidays.


You must be registered with the Healthcare Professions Council [HCPC] or working towards registration.
