An exciting opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified Registered Nurse /Operational Department Practioners.
We also welcome applications from existing Registered Nurses wishing to explore a career within Endoscopy.
As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will have responsibility for the assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care.
While implementing and evaluating these programmes to ensure the delivery of a high quality of care to patients.
This vacancy is for a Permanent -Part time - 21 hour , Band 5 position based in the Endoscopy Department in the University Hospital Monklands
In addition the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the planning and development of the New Monklands Hospital.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with valid UK NMC Registration/ SVQIII in Operating Department Practice/Diploma in Operating Department Practice
Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using their own initiative
Provide excellent time management skills -Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times
Have working knowledge of basic information technology
