Due to continued expansion we have a vacancy for a Band 6 Research Radiographer. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the highly skilled Clinical Research Imaging Facility team (CRIF) providing a highly specialised research imaging service as part of NHSGGC Research &Innovation.
CRIF leads and facilitates research and development activity supporting the research outcomes of researchers, clinicians and academics for both commercial clinical drug trials and academic studies. Research imaging involves a multidisciplinary team of radiographers, HCSW, radiologists, physicians, physicists, academics, IT staff, research fellows, research nurses, students and clerical staff from the NHS and University of Glasgow (UoG).
CRIF currently houses a Siemens 3T Prisma, Siemens 7T Terra (the only system in Scotland) and a Canon Aquilion One CT scanner in the Institute of Neurosciences and the Imaging Centre of Excellence, QEUH.
These state of the art scanners are fully featured with capabilities for complex imaging to provide high quality data which contribute to quality research in accordance with all relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines.
You must have a high level of MR experience.
The shift pattern is; 9-5 – must be flexible if we move to extended days
