Information Services now have an opportunity for a technical expert to join the Information Services Team, supporting the work of the Vaccination Programme within NHS Forth Valley.
This exciting post will help drive forward our SQL business intelligence products for the purpose of supporting the work of the Vaccination Programme. You will be leading on technical information and statistical developments and providing technical advice and solutions to other team members and external business users within various parts of the Health Board. As a technical specialist within Information Services you will develop, manage and maintain information databases in use by the Vaccination Programme, requiring knowledge of all aspects of SQL Reports development, Integration, SQL Server and automation of statistical reports.
A highly numerate graduate, or equivalent, you will have significant relevant experience in information analyst work, ideally in healthcare, and you will have significant experience of SQL, Excel VBA and possibly other data programming tools. You will be able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal team working abilities. The department serves many ad-hoc requests and ability to prioritise among multiple, sometimes conflicting demands is essential.
