An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of care Homes, Infection Prevention and Control Nurse.
Key responsibilities are
- To work autonomously as a specialist IPC Nurse within the operational scope of Care Homes, Primary care and Community Health Protection to facilitate the prevention, surveillance, investigation and control of infection within Care Homes and Primary care
- To manage and provide leadership a team of IPC Nurses within the sector.
To be considered for this role you will be
- A Registered Nurse
- Educated to Masters Level in relevant subject or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
- Will have management experience including staff, financial and change management.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
