We are looking for a talented and user experience driven Web Master to join NHS Fife’s busy and innovative Communications team. The postholder will work with our web agency to continually develop, enhance, and maintain the NHS Fife website launched in September 2020 and using Umbraco Content Management System
The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring an excellent user experience, intuitive navigation, clear and accessible content, along with attractive design to ensure the website continues to meet our diverse user needs and exceeds expectations. 
The post holder will also be responsible for regular reporting and refinement in relation to website analytics, providing training to web content editors and supporting digital integration across a range of platforms including Office 365 and NHS Fife’s Staff Communication and Engagement App – Staff Link (Powered by Blink).
In this role, we are looking for a detailed-oriented and excellent communicator. Balancing a creative eye with an analytical mind is essential. If you also have a strong technical background, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities
•    On-going design and development of an easy-to-use NHS Fife website, driven by UX
•    On-going testing of website across browsers, operating systems, and devices
•    Ensure site security by working with our web agency in setting login pages
•    Debug pages and fix broken links or images
•    Update website content and review SEO
•    Monitor and analyse site performance (e.g. traffic, conversions) with monthly google analytics reporting
•    Address user requests /complaints
•    Provide content editor training
Requirements
•    Proven experience as a Web Master or Web Developer 
•    Experienced in Umbraco CMS
•    Knowledge of web analytics and SEO
•    Familiarity with W3C web standards
•    Working knowledge of website management tools, Webmaster Tools etc.
•    Proficient in HTML/CSS
•    Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
•    Excellent communication and teamwork skills
•    Ability to generate creative ideas
•    Attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills
