An exciting opportunity has arisen at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for a senior registered nurse who is keen to enhance and develop their management and clinical skills in a Charge Nurse position within cardiology.
The candidate should have a commitment to cardiology, patient centred care and supporting effective team working. You will be required to support the Senior Charge Nurse in providing clinical leadership, managing the nursing team and having a pivotal role in driving forward models of care. The post holder will be expected to ensure safe and effective care that enhances the patient experience and contributes to the delivery of the organisation's objectives. The post holder preferably would have acute post registration experience within cardiology and be able demonstrate expert clinical and professional practice development through experience and theoretical knowledge, with management and leadership experience. They must understand the complexities of caring for individuals with complex cardiology and medical needs.
This post is full time, 37.5 hour per week day/night rotation working 12.5 hour shifts. Participation in the directorates Duty Charge Nurse rota is also a requirement for this post.
