Post 3 – 25hrs (0.67 WTE) Monday,Tuesday,Wedesday 2.30pm to 7.30 and Thursday,Friday 3.30pm to 8.30pm (QMH)
Posts 4 and 5 - 12 hrs (0.32WTE) alternate weeks, Week 1 Saturday and Sunday 8am to 2pm, Week 2 Saturday and Sunday 6pm to midnight (QMH)
Post 6 – 25hrs (0.67WTE) Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 7pm to midnight (QMH) and Saturday and Sunday 7pm to midnight (VHK).
Post 7 – 19.50hrs (0.52 WTE) Friday 8am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to (VHK)
Brief description of the post:
We require Clerical Officers to provide admin/clerical support within the Digital Health Record Support Department at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy and Minor Injuries, QMH. Due to staffing levels and to meet business needs there may be the requirement to occasionally change your work base between VHK and QMH.
As part of the Digital Health Records Support role, staff will work on a rota basis covering telephone calls from patients/relatives, scanning, Accident & Emergency and Minor Injuries reception.
Extensive training will also be provided to support NHS Fife Switchboard
Relevant admin/clerical experience is required as is the ability to prioritise and deal with the day to day workload in a busy environment. You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team.
Brief description of the main skills knowledge and experience required for the post:
You should be educated to Standard Grade (or equivalent) with passes in English and Arithmetic. You must also have good keyboard/typing skills with the ability to work on your own initiative. Good organisational & listening skills are essential as well as a flexible approach to working. A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is required.
