NHS Fife’s Procurement Department provides a comprehensive Procurement and Supply Chain Management service to NHS organisations in Fife.
You will be a member of the Procurement Senior Management Team, reporting directly to and deputising for the Head of Procurement whilst supporting staff within Post-holder’s area of responsibility. You will work across internal boundaries, building strong and supportive relationships with senior leaders and practitioners both within NHS Fife and the wider public sector. This role means you need to have a highly developed sense of autonomy, self-leadership, prioritisation, motivation and resilience.
You will also be expected to respond quickly and flexibly to any sudden workflow demands. You will organise and co-ordinate all workflow activities for their area of responsibility.
You must be computer literate, an excellent communicator and have experience in the use of MS Office packages.
Previous managerial experience is essential, as well as experience of working within a procurement or supply chain environment.
