An exciting opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse post in the renal services inpatient area at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Ward 4A is the high acuity renal ward, offering excellent experience of acutely ill renal patients.
Experience with haemodialysis is preferable, but not essential. Training and support will be provided.
You will operate as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients. You will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for patients to ensure delivery of a high standard of care.
You will maintain effective communication with patients, relatives/carers and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that appropriate information is shared and patient needs are met. You will have the ability to work to high clinical standards. You will be required to be flexible, forward thinking and able to work effectively within a changing environment.

This post requires registration with the NMC.
This post is 12hrs rotational shift pattern, Mon-Sun.
