The Hospital at Night Service is looking for an individual with well developed communication skills and the ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team. Working for the HaN Project Manager, the HaN OSO is responsible for all operational, administrative and support activities that ensure the HaN process runs smoothly and is improved across all Glasgow hospitals. You will be expected to work without direct supervision carrying out a range of operational support activities including document and report creation, presentation and course creation and delivery, and communication with others at all levels within the NHS. You will also work onsite in the hospitals to meet the requirements of the HaN Service.

You will require a generally high level of skills in using regular Office software applications and have advanced Excel skills including the use of pivot tables, Vlookups, Slicers, data connections and advanced formulas. You will require significant experience in the creation of various complexities of data, and have to analyse this and make recommendations for improvement activities. You will have to maintain documentation for the HaN service, including its document control system.

You must have a minimum of two years working within acute health care.

There will sometimes be a requirement for out of hours working.

Note that Application Form must describe expertise in required skills and describe their practical use in current or recent post or you will not be shortlisted. If shortlisted, interview will include a test on advanced Excel skills as described above.

The shift pattern is; Mon – Fri 9-5 (flexible)
