An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1 year fixed term support worker with Esteem- First episode psychosis service. The focus of this job is to provide health and social care support to individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis, whose care is managed by Esteem. The purpose is to provide additional support to the clinical team which will involve working closely with a variety of disciplines including nursing, social work, occupational therapy and psychology. The post-holder will be expected to take part in a wide range of therapeutic activities as directed by clinicians and as identified in care plans. Duties will include crisis support; engagement; monitoring of treatment compliance; group work; income maximisation; socialisation and establishing close links with local leisure, vocational, educational and employment organisations. The post-holder will be expected to manage a range of duties delegated to them including participating in assessment procedures, accurate record keeping, the transportation of items/clients and participation in MDT meetings. The post holder will be expected to participate in clinical supervision and appraisal as an integral part of this post. They are also required to hold a valid driving licence.
The shift pattern is; Monday to Friday 9-5
