The Public Health Department operates 7 day working, therefore weekend working will be required

We are seeking Health Protection Nurses to work within the Health Protection Team.  You will be based in the Department of Public Health at Cameron House and work closely with the Health Protection Nurse Specialists and Consultants in Public Health Medicine.

You must be on the General Nursing and Specialist Community Public Health Nurse parts of the NMC Register, have a relevant first level degree/post-registration qualification and be able to demonstrate evidence of further professional development. You must be willing to undergo further training to advance your skills and knowledge.

You must have substantial post-registration experience. Community experience, and practical experience in the field of Public Health Nursing/Infection Control is desirable and experience in communicable disease and TB control would be advantageous.

You must have good analytical, judgemental, communication and computer skills.  Being able to travel efficiently throughout Fife and work autonomously and in a team are essential.  You should be self-motivated and innovative.
