Enablement Worker - Care At Home
Band 3 - £21,709 - £23,603 per annum pro rata
1 x 22.75 hours per week permanent ( 4 x 08:00-12:00 shifts and 2 x 16.00-21.00 shifts ) 4 on/ 4 off rolling rota
Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, as well as their families or carers. Health and Social Care in Highland provides support and assistance in many situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty.
The post is responsible for supporting the provision of a Care at Home Service for people requiring short term support as a result of disability or illness. To work together with the person to find ways of enabling their independence in everyday life. For further information please refer to job specification.
In order to be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely, candidates would idealy have at least one year’s experience in a care setting, or have a genuine interest in caring for individuals in the community Applicant must have good communication skills – both verbally and in writing. SVQ Level 3 in Care, or a willingness and ability to work towards this qualification within an agreed time scale. For further information please refer to the person specification.
